I don't really know the full details about the whole story other than what the previous owner told me. He said that my engine was put in their vehicle, they drove it and figured it was too slow for them, they wanted an v8 engine so they took the car back to his shop and had it removed and was sitting there when the previous owner of my car drove it down to ohio.
That would be the best. Go with what your performance builder says.

I still have my stock tach on my muscle rig. But I barely look at it. It only has three frequencies.

Yes of course, and hahaha, I don't have anything to measure the frequency, even my friend said "**** that's low" last time he drove it.
Everything that I said here is 100% true. Has anyone else here encountered changing to a better oil and have it lower the sound of the engine more than what it is? I was amazed myself when it happened because I never thought that technology of oils has come so far.

Maybe I shouldn't of put the mods list up or say that the oil lowers the sound of my engine...
Does your Grand Am have the Ram Air hood? If not, get it. It will give you instantly 10 more HP and you should be able to climb those hills in no time.
It did, until I crashed it one time. It's still sitting in my garage.

Nope I haven't. The most I ever put into the gas tank was fuel stabilizer. Isn't 20w-50 too thick for my engine? I feel like it would turn into a slug machine with having oil too thick. I never had any misfires from the spark plug wires.
