changing back&forth from convetional <--> syn oil

I really think the synthetic leak issue is mostly coincidence. I used Syntec 5W50 and went back to GTX 20W50 and back again a few times in my Olds Trofeo between the 100-300,000 mile range that I had it,and it never leaked a drop.

I used to do it all the time in my 97 F150. Then I just started mixing conventional and synthetic. That truck is still running with well over 200K miles.
