That would be 185 oil changes on my BMW...which still has the original engine (not rebuilt) and daily driven... (369,000 miles as of today).Sheesh! I wouldn't buy a car with an engine that's that hard on oil. That would have mean having 80 oil changes on my 2018 Ram 1500 by now.
There is no downside to his recommendation and he isn't paying for the maintenance...so I get it. Kinda like the car dealer recommending the "while you are in there" add ons with services.
