This filter came from my 2001 Ford Crown Victoria with 156,544mi on it. This OCI has 3,275mi using SuperTech Synthetic High Mileage, and timing chains were done at 152,941. I did do a used oil analysis for it here. There was a decent bit of wear on the cam lobes when I had the engine apart, there was much less metal in the filter then previous times.

This filter looks ok, I won't use them again though. They are made in Mexico, but the biggest thing I don't like about them is how small the filter cartridge is compared to interchange filters.
The drain plug had a quite a bit of metal on it, I hope not to see that next time around.

You can see how much bigger the Pronto PO4651EX is compared to the PH820XL. Also more pleats.

Here's the relief valve spring.

Drain plug looks like a porcupine ready to strike. Never see metal collected like that one shows. Any metal debris found down deep in the inner filter pleats?

There wasn’t as much as there was in the past but there definitely still was some metal. The drain plug has looked similar the last few oil changes as well, but looking back at pictures this is probably the worst it’s looked. All of the particles on the magnet were extremely fine and turned to paste when I wiped it on paper.

Thanks for posting this. Surprising how small it is inside. I have a couple of these in my stash.
