cell phone recommendations

man, I pay $100 a year with t-mobile prepaid plan. I get 1000 minutes. I only use my cell phone for emergencies and as needed. T-mobile has this weird thing where you can't stack your minutes over 1000 since your minutes roll over to the next year. so if I have like 600 minutes after one year is over, I just get a 25 tmobile prepaid card and it will renew my minutes for another year. I've been rolling like this for over 6 years. My wife is on a tmobile prepaid plan too. I don't know how alot of folks can afford these 110/month cell phone plans especially for husband and wife. I know for sure if I got one, my wife would demand one too~!

First off . I said I was having my current phone replaced with a different make and model for free . So it isn't costing something. And just to be clear. I dont own a credit card. I have NO DEBT!!! Why do you keep running at the mouth? Your posts aren't relevant. I'm not telling you to get off this conservative I'm better than everyone else high horse. You know why because I don't care how you live! If you make poor choices its your choice. This forum is for relevant discussion and advice not trolling nonsense. I have no debt I have no govt help and I have a savings. Granted my savings is funding our wedding I still do have a savings. So for heaven sakes please leave me alone I don't want to hear it. Now as an update I went to the store today and they gave me the run around. Apparently a comparable phone is one of there free phones. I will be turning sprint in to the bbb and canceling my contract as soon as practically possible. I won't explain the whole story . Let me just say 3 hours on the store and 4.5 hours on the phone and I still have a phone that doesnt charge. How do you unlock a phone? Or root? I would love to do that.

110 a month for two phones unlimited internet and messaging and calls. Its pretty cheap. Ad up two cheap phone with calling and texting and then high speed internet for my home. It would cost more than I pay for the two phones with all of it.

No need to unlock. You can buy the Galaxy Nexus direct from the Google Play store for $399. It comes unlocked. Just stick a tmobile or AT&T simcard in, choose a no contract plan and you are good to go.

If you are happy with their phone selection and don't travel outside of a well covered area it may work okay for you. Prepaid on a big carrier is the way to go. I wouldn't even consider cricket with Tmobile's current prepaid plans. They're fantastic.
