Exactly, Mark. The myopia on the EPA is incredible. The air in this country was frankly terrible in the 70s when I was young. I remember it. It's much cleaner and clearer now, but people take it for granted and think we don't need environmental regulations.
Folks born after 1980 or so, they don't remember a time before unleaded gasoline, fuel injection and catalytic converters.
Of course, those same folks should remember what diesel semis used to smell like going down the road, because SCR and DPF are still relatively new. But people can't see the forest for the trees.
