Catalytic converter flange broke..

I got another manifold and down pipe put in the Aspire but unfortunately whenever they jumped the curb also broke the flange on the converter. The converter itself looks okay. It looks like there's a universal flange I clamp on there. Any experiences with these universal flanges? Any other ideas? I'm fairly sure if I take to a muffler shop they'll want to install a new converter.

Ugh thought about it but the smell is horrendous. The PO of the Festiva gutted it's cat can't stand it sometimes.
