It's just re-named Syntec Blend.

A good move by BP. The GTX name has more brand recognition then Syntec in the US. They will probably pick up a few more customers with the name change.

I personally liked the old "Syntec" bottles better. But better off they changed the name, I never looked that close at the bottle but thought "Syntec" was a synthetic I guess, now there's no "mystery" left behind to the consumer

Now if Castrol would be competitively priced around here....that would boost sales. Castrol products are running 4 bucks a jug higher than most of the competition on the shelf for the large jugs.
