Seems like they've launched a new line of Castrol filters, never seen this before

There was a series of Puro-made Castrol filters for quick lubes years ago. It never caught on. SOPUS had a similar deal for quick lubes(QS and Pennzoil-branded filters), Jiffy Lube tended to use those.

A 20K filter no one will run to to compliment their 20K oil no one runs to.

I will happily use Edge EP but not for a 20k OCI 😊

BOLD PREDICTION: This Castrol branded oil filter is probably a Royal Purple oil filter with a 20,000 mile rating. I have seen a new RP can with an E-Core center tube and I know that within the past year their similar oil filter under the Amsoil brand had its rating bumped to 25,000 under optimum conditions. I deduced that the Castrol filter is has a mix of elements from both the RP and Amsoil filters.

I have posted a few UOA with the intent to do more that have all used these brands If you would like to know anything. Anything else you would like to know while we’re on the subject?
Your sarcasm detector is broken but I genuinely appreciate your apparently sincere reply. ;)

What do the UOA show in regards to the filters?
I suppose one could assume that they did their job. Wear was low, particle count is aver or below. One would assume that if they’re not filtering properly then wear numbers would be high. At least in my thoughts.
