Castrol edge with fst. Changes?

I have used castrol edge in my 2010 fusion v6 since new. While going to purchase oil today i noticed the edge with titanium no longer have the 15,000 miles quarantee on bottles. While this is no deal breaker, just wondering. In the 5w20 weight i use it never stated this in the first place but the other bottles did. Would like to keep usisng what's already in there but am willing to try another brand if edge is not performing well in used oil analysis. What up castrol? Any advise?

I would use Mobil 1 Extended Performance. I am not happy with the formulation change. It has actually taken a step backwards on paper and they would not put the 15k warranty in writing for me. I tried the FST just to try it out but I am not overly impressed. The old formula is better IMO. You can get Mobil 1 Extended Performance for the same price at many places. JMO from using it.

Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20 or Motorcraft Blend 5W-20. MC is cheap and cheerful as it were.

i agree with chubbs. Mobil 1 Extended Performance is usually the same price and they do warranty theirs to 15k miles. i would use that instead.

When they went to SN is when the reformulation happened? I'm not going to go with Mobil 1 Extended Performance because i will not use it for the duration of 15k. I may try edge with syntec. Not sure. What in the reformulation has changed? May try synpower or QS UD because it's the cheapest syn at walmart. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......
