Right now I have Valvoline Syn and Mobil 1 in my stash because of price.
please educate me on the "less oil vapor" comment for the PP.
thanks...PR
The GTL based products of Pennzoil Pure-Plus and Shell Helix Ultra tend to have low Noack volatility %. I believe this is what they are referring to.
thank you.
I`m doing a bit of sampling. Had used Amsoil XL but with a low oci bc of travel reasons, and the UOA came back great. Running the synpower to 3k and then getting that checked. I have PP on the shelf, and I`ll do the same with that when I exhaust the stash of Valvoline.
If the PP has less suspended vapor than that would be ideal with less contamination if that is the point.
we`ve all read the various reasons why manufacturers suggest a brand or product with it`s endorsements.
Some folks swear on the Pennzoil Platinum / Pennzoil Ultra for the hellcat, etc etc etc...
there was no Mobil 1 5w30 on the shelf when I purchased my test stash, but I`ll get to that eventually.
