I knew it sooner or later this was bound to happen. Whenever Walmart has the $299 laptop specials, they're sold out in 1 day and you see dozens of them on ebay.

This is one thing I don't like about CFC. It's nothing more than welfare for certain people who have a qualifying vehicle. I'm not against welfare or assisting low income people who need it, but there has to be a means test for income. CFC is welfare without a means test.

Still, it's too nice a car to scrap:

The link no longer brought up the Caprice, so I called the dealer. The car was saved! They sold it yesterday evening.

Sorry Bill, the thread's deleted.

That is what happens when you have a certain member NOT follow the R/S/P (and pretty well hit all of those subjects in one post)

Hopefully he was banned from the board after such a stupid post.

And all this time I thought that "Cash for Clunkers" was the new UAW marketing slogan...

I would love to see a video or evidence that they are actually going to crush those cars. My dad thinks that the govt is going to send them overseas and sell for a profit. Makes u wonder.

The only place American cars are competitive is North America. I don't think you can sell the big 3 products sold here in any other place, especially the horrendous vehicles qualifying under the C4C. We have different tastes here.

Not so. I saw lots of really cool new Fords over in Greece. Factory turbocharged Focus' were everywhere. China obviously loves American cars, specifically Buicks.

But that Focus isn't an American Focus. Sure Ford is there. But they are not selling the "American" cars.

The Focus was "Americanized" for sale here. The one we get is similar but not the same as the European Focus.
