Good Afternoon BITOGERS

This oil filter and some CARQUEST Syn High Mileage 10w30 was in and on my friends 99’ Jeep Cherokee with 4.0 engine. Oil and filter had just shy of 4,005 miles on them. I put a MC FL-400S thanks to member Bullwinkle and some Quaker State Advanced Durability 10w30 I have bunch of in “the stash”.

Date code is definitely Purolator.

Not perfect but rather decent.

Yeah, some folks don’t realize a 4.0 Jeep can be kinda hard on oil.
Mom is well, bout to head down their way in week of Thanksgiving to see them and crumb snatchers; errr “nephews”

I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 in it never have paid attention to the filter insides lol we also don’t use CarQuest filters I use either Bosch, Wix or Puralator unless it’s on my Fords then I use Motorcraft

Motorcraft is Purolator made. Stay tuned; I am posting a “made in China” Purolator “TECH” filter.

There's NOTHING wrong with MC oil filters.
Other than too many "15 minutes of fame" claims.

Oh, I have seen them. But, I will keep my opinion on how I suspect that they tear to myself.

Sis had a '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport w/4.0l I6.
The dipstick handle and filler caps made for a virtual under-hood constellation against the black and grey of the engine bay.
I installed a PureOne oil filter just before she sold it.
Everyone who viewed that XJ commented on the decor.
The second picture is to "prove" jug dino w/filter specials can work.
