CarQuest Premium 95157 C&P

In use for 7,472km on a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu 2.5 LCV with Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W30. No large masses of material. Some sediment, but all appeared to be on the filtration side of the filter media. ADBV malleable and soft - held about 120mL of oil in the filter even while turning the filter down to drain for a month. Coil spring and bypass solid. Filter media symmetrical and no tears. Metal crimp seam and end caps. Little extra glue on top and bottom end caps, but am not concerned in the least. Made in Vietnam in 2024.

As expected, looks good. If there's one nitpick, as here can get carried away with the potting in spots. But thus far not to the point of being an issue. I'm running a China made 84356 on a Honda now. It is getting more difficult to find the 15% discount no min online code, but with a search can still be found.

The 85348 that I recently purchased was made in China. This is going on my Kohler ZT740.
The NAPA Gold 1348 was made in Malaysia. This one is next up on the Ford Escape.
The Microgard Select MSL51348 was made in Vietnam. This one is currently on my Ford Escape.
