Carquest oil filters

What do you guy's think of carquest oil filters. are they any good.

They are made by wix, highly rated around here.

Yep, they are just rebranded Wix filters. Also the same as NAPA's filters. The Carquest Red filters are the same thing as a NAPA Silver, and the Carquest Blue filters are the same as a regular Wix filter and NAPA Gold.

Amazing filters...love them, use the CarQuest Red in an '06 GP GT S/C Intercooled. And if you buy the pack style (12) they can get really cheap in price too.

Discovering this a couple of years ago was a big reveCarquestlation for me. Some of my farm equipment takes filters that you cannot buy at WM or even many auto parts stores. When I had a Napa store close, I could get Wix from there. When the Napa stores closed, I was having to spend more gas money to get fixed up. Then one day someone here mentioned the CQ was rebadging Wix too and... angels singing in the background... I went to the local CQ. Turns out to be a great store too... very much geared to the local farming scene.

Where I work (west side of Indy near the airport) there are all manner of distribution warehouses, one of which is a CarQuest facility with a store-front on the main access drive. Nice to have car parts, literally, right on my drive home, should I need them. I call over, they have it in stock (as would be expected from a main-distribution warehouse), and it's in my possession with only a total of 100 feet of deviation from my drive home. The only downside at times is that CQ tends to be a bit pricey at times.
