If Wix makes the NAPA and Carquest Filters, which color of Carquest filters is equivalent to the NAPA Gold. The red or blue one?

I went to Carquest today and talked to them.

The Blues are similar to the Napa Gold filters. Glass enhanced media and silicone valve.

You are right...the "Blue" line is the top of the line in oil filters. The "red" line is the cheaper ones with the nitrile ADBV. The "Bravo" line is something you don't put on a car you care about (not just filters).

And note that filters from the CQ Blue Line, are not necessarily blue in color. I have a CQ blue line filter on one of our cars and the filter can is white.

I recently purchased a Car Quest Blue Filter, it says on the box for 3,500 mile plus oil change intervals, I called WIX to ask if it was equal to the WIX line and they said they would call me back but they never did, looks like a high quality filter I am going to buy some more of them.
