Car & Driver on the Plaid

Despite my dislike for anything Tesla related, I will give them credit for turning the entire automotive industry on it's ear.

So would I. I expect the top speed update will need to come first.
Right now it is limited to a paltry 160, or something like that.
There is a brake update coming as well, I believe.
And it will need huge suspension overhaul.
So basically they released half finished product to jack up stock price.

Or they released "half finished" product because consumer demand was there immediately.
The stock price has been affected more by the ineptitude and irresponsible agenda of the current administration in Washington than by anything Musk has done. And affected in an unnecessary and negative way.

Who cares?

The big German sedans are better cars. I want a well-built car with nice paint, not an electric rocket with the build quality of a Power Wheel™ and the interior of an iPad.
The German cars resale values say they are not very good.

Lol.
This explains a lot why he is able to sell products without brakes and suspension.
Give us Plaid, my neighbor doesn’t know what’s underneath.

Resale value doesn’t have anything to do with that.
My Sienna hold exceptional value. It also costs twice as much to maintain than my BMW which I track.
And of course:

I could actually sell this “windy” vehicle now for some really good money. People would trip over each other. Yet, that doesn’t mean it is actually good car.

Devils advocate, the Demon has regular (albeit big) brakes and has no problem stopping from its 9 second 1/4 mile.

Edit: Fronts on the Demon are 14.2” with 352sq in. swept area, rears are 13.8” with 316sq in. swept area, 4 piston calipers front and rear.

One of the first consumer (and very unscientific) tests of the Unplugged Performance front carbon ceramic BBK.
