Can't get rear rotor off!!!

Make sure you clean the hub face ( between all the wheel studs), the rotor where it contacts the hub, and even the wheel where it contacts the rotor. Get all the rust off these areas or you will have rotor runout and pulsating brakes.

Had the same issue with my 2015 caravan on rear rotors. Knocked the rotor back and forth at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o clock positions. Also sprayed penetrating fluid in the threads of the lug nuts.

After it was off used a wire wheel to clean the rust off the hub and apply grease to make the next time easy peasy.

I realize I'm a little late to this party and the OP already removed the rotor with a BFH. However for future reference, another effective way to remove a stuck rotor is to use a hammer drill. Just set it to hammer and put the chisel against the rotor "fins." Comes off with a few pulses.

Edit: wear ear protection...using a hammer drill on metal is loud as hell!

FINALLY got it off. First time in my 72 years I had to use a sledge to get a rotor off.
I greatly appreciate all the great advise. Again this forum and its members are great!
Good to know that there are so many experienced members here that help.

I've had cars where I needed 2 hours with a sledge to get the rotors off. Maybe you were lucky for 72 years? those rotors looked like golf balls when they finally came off. That hammer was so heavy that i could swing 4-5 times before needing a break and getting some air.

That's why I always remove rotors when I purchase a new vehicle and coat rotor to hub interface with a burnishing of antiseize. Never a future problem.
