Can you charge two batteries with one charger?

Can I put one charger on each battery to make it twice as fast? I have like 3 of these noco 5 amp chargers that I keep on various things at all times.

Sure, but I would pull the ground off the secondary battery so the two "smart" chargers won't get confused.

Electrical it will work and charge, but I asked the BatteryMinder customer service for two batteries in two cars and he said it is not ideal unless it is bench top application and both batteries were fully charged before going into to the final float voltage stage. He said for ideal desulphantion maintenance purchase two chargers.

I am not sure of the need to top off automotive batteries if everything is working and the vehicle is regularly driven.

But I do think it's a good idea to disconnect one of the battery negative cables and then test each battery once or twice a year.

I would not suggest disconnecting the positive cable.

Depends on how far you drive it. It sat for like a month, then a lot of times I just run it down to mcdonalds to get breakfast and not really go that far. Batteries were down to 60 percent before I started it. I don't really like this truck as much as my other 3rd gen dodge cummins. This second gen is too small, the brakes suck and it's harder to see out of imo. It's just to have a second vehicle.

I think it's not an issue to charge both batteries at once. I would just check them each separately once or twice a year to make sure they are both in the same condition.

I put two AGM batteries in my 2015 PSD.
