It is the wilfires....they're huge.

A week ago when I took the grandboys to dirt track racing, NW Iowa was in a smoke fog due to the smoke from Canada and high humidity. It was surreal.
We're okay so far today, but I fear it won't last.
A week or two ago, same deal here - and it was insanely smokey and smelled like my neighbor had a campfire going. It was a combination of smoke from a forest fire in Northern MN on top of the smoke from Canada having made it down here...

Its been a bad year for for both the US and Canada already and we are only in May.

I noticed a burnt smell in these parts as well. Likely from the Albertan fires... But that's a LONG way away!

I'm in northern MN and the wind switched from the North, visibility dropped to about 100yds.
They just mentioned the smoke from the CA fires affecting the available sun light on the 5 o'clock news
