Properly installed, there is no angle you could hit it and have that happen to your car.

A helicopter was brought in, suggesting that not everyone in the car was killed on impact.

If that incident was in the USA, the guardrail was probably made by Trinity Industries, which has been plagued with numerous lawsuits and regulatory actions regarding its defective products that can act like a spear in a motor vehicle accident.

I live right next to a college town. I dodge texting drivers on a daily basis. It's gotten to the point where I just assume people aren't paying attention. Now at stop lights when they turn green and the person doesn't move, I usually just go around them instead of honking.

Made me glad I was in a huge bus instead of a standard car.

+1 I recently was a passenger in a raised pickup truck and watched in horror at how many maniacs are driving on the freeway while working their phones. It's an epidemic and this is in heavy traffic at 70+ mph!

Women are the worst. I've seen them doing there fingernails, putting on makeup and filling out paperwork while driving.

I've always said we could take some good examples from Saudi Arabia...

Now they have cable barriers that are absolutely positively guarinteed to kill any motorcyclist that hits or is forced into one. If you hit with your car, it will suck the car in and total it on the spot. Bad bad bad these are. your only possible way to survive is jump if you are forced into one.

Bigot much?
Actually S.A. has separate but equal gender societies in many many cases. Something you just don't hear about.

Women aren't allowed to drive. Imagine how much traffic and accidents that would prevent!

Don't know what the driving age is in Saudi Arabia but I think it should be at least 21 here.

Texting and driving is unconscious suicide.
