can i use shell rotella or mobile delvac?

Wondering i can use shell rotella or mobile dlevac in my 95 neon. Ive seen the shell rotella in 10 30 grade, and higher. And mobile dlevac seems to be for deasel only, and only in grades like 15 40 ect. can they be mixed with 5 or 10w 30 oils?

Well, i thin its burning a little. Past few oil changes, i looked at dipstick before draining, cold, and oil was down a quarter of a quart. Is it delvac is psecificaly for deisel? Ive read on this board, that shell rotella has very good cleaning stuff in it. True?

Better winter mix is 5-20 and Hdeo 15-40
or rotella syn t 5-40 without mixing. Hdeo doesn't clean- it suspends more stuff longer.

Ziggy: If you're looking for the synthetic Rotella T, it is available as a 5W-40. The 10W-30 Rotella is not a synthetic oil, IIRC.

A quarter of a quart is only eight ounces. Many new cars use more than that.

Since the vehicle is 11 years old, I think you should stay with the oil and oil weight you are presently using.

Sure you can. If Shell Rotella is available in 10W30 in your area I would start with that product and go from their! It is probably one of the best non-synthetic 10W30's you can put in your engine!
