Can I use 0w20 in a Bronco Sport??

My wife bought a 2023 Bronco Sport with the 1.5L ecoboost. The owners manual calls for Motorcraft 5w20 and that’s what the dealer put in on the free oil change.
I have 3 5-quart jugs of Valvoline 0w20 from her previous car. Would it be safe to use the lighter oil or would it be too thin for the turbo. Thanks in advance

Pretty much it is safe to use full synthetic 0w20, where they call for 5w20. Generally, the standards are higher to just create 0w20 than 5w20.

Contrary to popular belief, 0w20 is not a thinner oil than 5w20. Both will be in the same viscosity range at operating temperature. The difference is that in extreme cold the 0w20 will flow better than 5w20. So in any case where an engine calls for 5w20, you can safely run 0w20.

Not even really sure why 5w20 still exists, probably so Ford can still sell a semi and not a full synthetic.
