Oil recommendation for 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz

My wife traded her escape for a 2023 Santa Cruz. Neat little truck though too small for me.
Anyway, the owners manual says to use Quaker state 0w20 oil. I don’t care about the brand, but I somehow wound up with 6
5-quart jugs of mobil1 5w20.

The oil change interval is 8,000 miles in the manual. I usually do 4,000 miles.

I’m thinking of doing every other oil change with the 5w20 opposite changes with 0w20 so I have receipts showing the 0w20 for the warranty.

The question is, Will 5w20 cause any issues with the Hyundai engine? I know nothing about them. BTW it is NOT a turbo.

Not unless you are cold starting it in temperatures around -40. Aside from that the oils are essentially functionally the same.

With Hyundais engine issues I’d say stick with 0w-20 through the warranty period. Although your 5W-20 would be just fine.
