Cabin air filter Help

Update.. I ordered that Denso, cabin air filter it arrived, I'm actually amazed with the quality of it for $9 it's better quality than OEM, the first picture is what an oem Ford Edge cabin air filter usually looks like.. the remaining pictures is the Denso I confirmed that is the number, in a couple months if it doesn't fit then I guess I'm out nine bucks oh well.. also this doesn't cross reference to no other vehicle either, just a Ford Edge and the Lincoln MKX.. has the foam on two sides, Motorcraft doesn't even have that.. it almost reminds me of a Toyota or Honda cabin air filter..

Thank you 👍

I used TYC in my Impreza and it is as thick as the OEM Subaru. I've never heard that Charcoal could restrict airflow but I have heard the some HEPA filters will. I bought a a BOSCH HEPA filter recently and it seems like it is paper thin but still HEPA. Maybe this redesign allows for increased air flow without sacrificing filter performance. The TCY was around $11 and the BOSCH in that size was between $10-11, sometimes going up to $12. The BOSCH in the other sizes are more money.

My Legacy is using PurolatorBOSS. These are expensive. I used to buy when they offered coupons but were still ~$20+. I "think" I have one left.

I bought an STP for my wife's CRV once and it was paper thin. I then went to ATP Charcoal and it was as thick as the OEM Honda. I have 2 Amazon branded Charcoal filters for her car and they seem to be like the ATP.
