Our storms are all over the news. I was awoke last nigh to a big crash. Here's a few pics from my street.
This is a $3M+ property 4 houses down from me; the tree belongs to the next door neighbor. People don't realize that the ball root only goes down 3' or 4' and the tree keeps on growing. The feeder roots grow outward, not down. A safety trim would have gone a long way. Saturated ground and high winds are a recipe for a perfect storm.
Here's another house, the car was covered earlier but someone cleared it while I was out.
