This filter was ran for 6 months & 5500 Miles on a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0, oil was Valvoline Advanced Full Synthetic 5w30.
The shop truck at my work (2007 chevy Silverado 3500 6.0) has over 470,000 miles on the original engine with these tiny filters (not this brand) and that truck leaves with no less than 2000 pounds of gearing on the flat bed daily. I myself don't like the small size but the small size doesn't seem to present really any issues beyond visual appeal. That’s a small filter for a 6L engine.

That's what most LS engines use. An FL-500S size will fit, but it extends lower & can be a road debris target. I think they need to be bigger, my 6.0 seems to make (or launch) a fair amount of crud too. That’s a small filter for a 6L engine.
A wire backed fram ultra, I believe we still have 2 more wirebacked ones left for this truck. I tried to stock up on wire backed ones but everywhere I went they only had the new version, which will be what goes on it in the future.Looks good. What went back in and on? Thank You
I used to be a fan of them especially the m1-210a but around 2 years ago I found a couple filters at meijer with the louvers almost completely closed and that scared me away from them. That's right around the time I started really inspecting and researching filters before using them.perfect filter every time, my all time favore combo was mobil 1 with mobil 1 oil filter.
