out/off: 6 quarts Mobil 1 EP HM 5w-30 with M1-113a

in/on: 6 quarts Valvoline EP HM 5w-30 with fram titanium FS10575 (i know, but CQ premium are sold out in my AAP district).

filter looks good, end cap came off up upon cutting, but i don’t think it affected the service of the filter. wish the 212a’s looked this good.

That one does appear to be neatly organized & not too much over glue hanging over the sides. Good pics.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with the purolator boss or the purolator one

Looks fine to me, like it got the job done nicely. As for endcap popper, I go by what a well-respected member and former poster Jim Allen said about the phenomenon years ago, He said, "If the potting material stays intact, then spring pressure is enough to seal the metal to it and there is no bypass." What I can see, appears to be the case here. No observable slits in adbv either.
