Buy, sell, keep or trade?

86 Subaru GL. 161k miles and my daily driver. No rust on this one so I am expecting it to last a good while longer.

93 Subaru Loyale. 143k miles. Starting to get good and rusty, but hopefully will hold up a few more years of winter abuse.

99 Ford F-150. 45k miles. Considering selling this one since I use it so little. But it is paid for and is still essentially a new vehicle.

03 Toyota Corolla. 140k miles. Wifes car and has been completely reliable other than her tendency to run over nails and puncture tires. Still drives like new, great car.

A 2006 Chrysler 300 with the Hemi and a 2006 Dodge 3500 with the 5.9 Cummins.Also a couple classic cars,a 1966 Chevy Nova II SS which is a true SS with a 1967 327.Also have a 1962 Chevy Impala with the 409,with two carbs and not the single carb.Had to put on regular plates on them thanks to the state of Michigan,both of the regualr drivers had dealer plates on them.There is a use tax on used car dealers when a dealer plate is used.My father is not too happy about it since he is an used car dealer

Sable may go in a year or so due to the body, but the others are staying for along time. Hoping for at least 200K out of each of the other 3 in sig.

All will go 150,000-175,000 and get traded for new ones. Unless there is some super WOW rebate after they roll 100k. OR unless any are lemons. I now lease my cars for 3 years and buy out the good ones and turn in the dogs. Much easier plus you get to try the vehicle for 2-3 years (while in warranty) before you commit. Wish I had done that on my last 2 GM trucks.

91 Honda Civic - too good of gas mileage to sell
91 Mazda 626 - pretty much the same deal plus it isnt worth much anyway and its a good car
2000 Volvo V70 - gas mileage not as good but its such a nice car

I don't think I'll get rid of any of them, I usually drive cars till they fall apart.

My current Ranger isn't going anywhere. I may add a Bronco or older Ranger or F-150 to the fleet after I get out of school, but that's it. Nothing new really interests me.

If you go on Leasetrader.com

you will find many people trying to get out of their leased car that is costing them an arm and leg. I looked at cars in my zip code and I saw one guy with a 2008 convertible Jaguar thats paying $1300 a month for his lease and trying to get rid of the car. I'm sure he is one of the many people that financially overextended themselves.

I plan on keeping my current fleet for a long time (2004 Impala, 2008 Colorado p/u) as long as GM keeps making parts for them.

The bikes in my sig are keepers. In fact my two boys have each claimed one of them to inherit in many many years hopefully.

The Honda has had a tough life and seems to keep getting into fender benders but it runs great, sips gas, and is paid for so I'll drive it til it dies.
The 4runner looks and runs great and I hate to get rid of it but we are planning a move to new england in a year or two and we will need a 4wd so it may get swapped out for a new Outback or Forester, especially if they bring the diesel stateside.
