Question is, if it does will you have it repainted or request a new one? Sorry couldn't resistIt is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully it comes without any dents / scratches!
Thankfully there wasn’t any damage, so we don’t have to go down that roadQuestion is, if it does will you have it repainted or request a new one? Sorry couldn't resist![]()
It’s up and running! I got a call this morning from the delivery service stating it was delayed. I called back to find out that the delivery truck was down and a part that was needed was on order. Of course! I ended up driving over and picking it up myself. The top of the box was crushed in, thankfully the washer itself doesn’t appear damaged.
Planned mods are tint, turbo upgrade, and start stop delete.

That is a nice looking washer, haven't seen one that sleek before. Did the old one look like this?
Can a metal non see through lid be substituted in used condition.I like the idea of exploring if the lid could be repaired.
You could also do some searching locally for the same model used with a good lid for parts.
Otherwise, I would probably order a new lid (after searching for the best price.)
Prices on appliances are high die to supply chain issues, and you probably would get the rest of the usable life out of the washer with a lid replacement.
I would post over on applianceblog.com. The repair people over there are great, and have provided me with valuable information over the years.
From what I read that was a possibility, but I can’t 100% confirm. We wouldn’t like the look of that anyway though, a bit too “redneck”.Can a metal non see through lid be substituted in used condition.
I certainly understand that. Wasn’t sure how it would look cosmeticallyFrom what I read that was a possibility, but I can’t 100% confirm. We wouldn’t like the look of that anyway though, a bit too “redneck”.
Thanks for the recommendation! Sometimes it's also nice to just get a new one.Next time you’re in an appliance jam go here and ask. Guys of help with my junk running about 20 maybe 25 years. The best part is they’ll tell you how to do it within reason.
