Build / Recommend a New Diff, 2010 Crown Vic Police Interceptor

Fluid change and lsd additive could bring it back to where you want it. Might not need a rebuild yet??

I'm getting ready to do the 9.75 in my f150 and am going to use a Yukon Dura-Grip per the recommendation of a well known diff builder in my area. I told them that I wanted a good, tight lsd that would handle occasional off road trips in the mountains and they felt that this was the way to go.

If you haven't already made your selection, maybe consider that one too.

My brother just had the 9" rebuilt in his 220K mile F-150. He's in central Alaska, so it sees rough duty. All stock-ish parts, was a little over $2000 including axles. There was an 8 week wait for a slot in the shop though. Great aftermarket support for the 9".
My buddy has had a Torsen in the Dana 60 in his 440 4spd Barracuda since the late '80s. His was made by Gleason for a Ford application, so he had custom axles made due to different splines. Full time limited slip and smooth as glass, he's loved it since day one. Admittedly a low miles, fair weather car, he'll beat on it pretty hard though.
