First off i rarely brag a bunch about a company but i am a buck fan for life. I sent off a knife i used to carry everyday. It had a bent up clip. It got bent and i tried working it back to shape and made it kinda work correctly but accidently cracked and broke the plastic handle squeezing it with pliers. After that i kept it as a beater knife only. About a year after that i was prying on something and broke the blade. I sent it in a few weeks ago. And wrote a letter with the knife telling them i just wanted it fixed if possible and I'm willing to pay because i abused it. Well I got it back today brand new knife with a hand written letter thanking me for the business and the normal card they give out and a 25% discount card for any of their products. I will be putting my spyderco up for awhile and carrying the buck because of how well they treated me
Absolutely incredible service!!!

I live about 2 miles from the long time former home of Buck Knives. The anti business climate in CA forced them to relocate to Idaho. The above post is typical of their business practices. The owners and employees set a fine example not just for a quality product but the highest standards of community service.

Next time you shop for a knife, remember who stayed in the USA and respects their customers.

Iv heard story's where houses burnt down and Buck came threw and replaced the knifes. It didn't happen from personal experience so I can't say if its true but they do seem to have a excellent customer service and every business should look at bucks model and try to do the same.

I have a couple Bucks. Great knife and great company.
I carry a Marbles Knife. Not as good a quality but a knife can grow on you.

You live in El Cajon? I went to their shop there once - outstanding people.

Nice timing for the post! I just got my Buck assisted opening pocket knife back from them. Has been my daily carry knife for years and the assisted opening function finally broke. Sent it in and they had it back to me within a month razor sharp and working perfectly! Very pleased with buck and will give them all the business I can in the future.

I have several Buck knives and love the quality they are made with. It is very nice to hear about the customer service they provided you.

Buck Knives was a local institution here. Their belief in honest work, great products and above all customer service left them at complete odds with the government that never heard of or believed in such nonsense.

All of us that grew up around here have at least one Buck knife and some even more.

Everyone around here remembers that day they packed up and moved. They were not the first and the tradition of moving out of California is still going strong.

The nice politically correct people in California would never own something as dangerous as a Buck knife.

I have a Buck Folding Hunter with the carry case that a vendor gave to me almost 50 years ago. Never been used and stored away in a drawer. The brass in somewhat tarnished. I keep thinking that I will have an occasion to give it to someone or donate it for a charitable auction but time has passed and it still resides in my dresser drawer. Someone looking to give a Buck 110 a new home please knock on my door while I am still in touch with reality.
