Bruce Willis was moved into a mental care facility

Hi All,

This was posted an hour ago. Truly crazy that according to his family he can no longer speak or remember anything. Seems like he went downhill very quickly. I doubt he has long. Hopefully they will continue to visit and comfort him during his stay. Seems like he was in a movie not too long ago. Makes you appreciate every day a little more. Apparently after his death his family plans on donating his brain for alzheimers research.

Any of the Dementia diseases are just cruel. I only hope he isn't suffering.

My father suffered the safe fate as Bruce, very aggressive form of dementia. 5 years from diagnosis to passing away. Not very much that can be done for Bruce at this point but keep him comfortable.

My grandfather was sharp as a tack on his 90th birthday back in 2018. He was two weeks shy of his 93rd birthday in 2021 and hardly recognized anyone.

My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and lived a full 10 years in a home after that. He always recognized me

Sounds like they moved him to a second home where he could get round the clock care (and some quiet that helped) but his kids could lead a normal life yet get regular access to their father. I suppose they were hoping this arrangement would last longer.

Apparently his last movie before his retirement was in 2022 paradise city which looks good. He was in his last movie "Assassin" in 2023, don't remember this one.

That's old news. Even Tapper gave in and wrote a book about it when he realized he could profit. Oh wait, you're talking about Bruce Willis. Silly me.....

If it's a memory care place it's not too bad. My Mom was in one with Alzheimer's. They typically build the rooms around a square. So you can walk the hallways and never come to the end.
