I am looking for a ~2lb brass hammer similar to this one:

I am open to buying snap-on, but if cheaper (and better) alternatives exist, I would like to consider them. Trusty Cook does not make anything similar.

What are you wanting to use it for? I use mine for working on my firearms.

CV joint inner tripods and steering knuckles
Will something like these work?

Will something like these work?

Good choices.
Also available at McMaster-Carr.

Thanks for all of the quick responses. I have not visited the Tekton site in a while and was pleased to see that they had revamped their line of hammers. I have some rewards to use up so I will probably order a 1lb and 2 lb from them.

How about a made-in-USA Brooks? https://brooks-usa.com/solid-brass-hammers/

Cheaper than the SnapOn.

They're almost too pretty to use, though. :)
These look ridiculously good. Not familiar brand, but I am curious what their warranty process is.

Judging by how easily brass drifts get damaged/worn, I think these brass hammers will be a wear item. Local warranty may end up being a factor.
