Brake Pads - with good initial bite

Ok so I ended up with two sets of pads haha ( need to ship one back )

I have Ferodo Premier (FF) and Hella Pagid (FE), I read that Hella are OE?

So I need to make final decision Ferodo vs Pagid ?

Price wise comparable after brokerage and duties ( Otherwise Ferodo would be cheaper not sure if going by price is good call )

Ferodo made in England
Pagid made in Germany

What is your take guys on

Ferodo - Premier Eco Friction
Found some stock
FF rated for what it’s worth

Or with immediate stock available Raybestos Element 3
I do know nothing about those Raybestos to be honest. 😪
I do know for certain though that Ferodo Premier are excellent
in both daily driving and even under heavier conditions.
Since Ferodo is an OEM I suspect Ferodo Premier is actually just
an OE compound as used by VW, Audi, BMW and perhaps other
manufacturers.

It might be different on niche applications, but my own experiences
as well as others' experiences with EBC black, green and red in short:
overly temperature-dependent friction (cold: worse than OE, Ferodo
etc., warm: more bite than OE, Ferodo etc., hot: weaker than OE and
Ferodo etc., early fading particularly with black and green). Next issue
is unsticking pad compound from the backing plate due to rust which
I experienced myself as well as others who. I've never seen that happen
with any OE pad or one from a reputable company. Third, not a single
car manufacturer uses EBC on his cars (thus EBC lacks experience with
OE standards). Lastly, virtually no reputable racing team uses EBC. On
track you'll mainly see Pagid, Ferodo, CL, PFC, Endless - rarely any EBC.
EBC yellow and up obviously perform better when hot, but also weaker
when cold. And the quality issues remain the same.
Other experiences will differ, but these are mine and those of other guys
I know in person.

On BMW? Jurid, ATE or Textar!

Go Pagid.

No idea. Too long ago I changed pads on a BMW (ten or eleven years). However my previous GTI came with Ferodo pads. Not sure on my current one, haven't had a look yet.
I'm pretty sure Ferodo/Federal-Mogul should mention some names on their website.

Jurid is Federal Mog. Which is Ferodo as well.

I found reference to Ferodo being stock for C class as well as some Audis and VWs

I’m really on the fence Ferodo vs Pagid

I do like FF rating of Ferodo vs FE in Pagid, for what is worth

To be honest I'm unsure how their 'Hella-Pagid' brand line-up compares to
their (previous?) 'Pagid' offerings which have been supposedly 100 % OE.

On OE BMW pads it will say at the bottom who makes it. I have never, ever seen Ferodo.
I am glad they are back into business, as in 90's their stuff was absolute junk. I had Ferodo pads on Opel Vectra that broke in half after 5k km. Then soon after they just disappeared from the aftermarket sale.

Stock Ferodo Pads on my Camaro were really good Ferodo HP1000. Switched to Stoptech 309s once I wore the front out which is my go too pad. All my cars have that pad on it.. yes including the Jeep.

The Ferodo were better with initial bite but similar pedal feel but 2-3x the price. I am still very happy with the stoptechs as they have good initial bite with good friction and release characteristics. I had Akebono ProACT on the G37 when I got it and while it had great initial bite it lacked overall friction which got me to swap them out.
