I have a parts kit that includes the rubber boots for the slider pins. Not a caliper rebuild. I guess its only like two items to replace for these, right?

Probably would be smart to replace hoses, though this car is not long for this world, much to my sadness, due to a number of rust spots underneath.

Rust in the floor pans, or major suspension? Not too hard to weld in floor metal.

Im not one to do that job. Id love to see someone else do it because the car is wonderful otherwise, and I love it. AC and ABS work, radio sounds good, etc. Engine mysteriously uses a bit of oil, but it runs strong and well and I take it all over the place (just did 400+ miles in two days in it).

But with a growing family, I have to make the concession of one car going away so we can get a minivan at some point, and given the rust, this one will be it.

I will ensure it gets a good life after, I really like the little car.
