Brake pad friction codes

Does anyone know of any catalog/website sources where one can find the friction ratings of various suppliers' brake pads?

Or is it "go to the store and look"?

The higher the letter the better usually the premiun pads are higher rated.

Ive emailed the tech support at various OEMs before and they have been pretty good to get me that info.

Not many state their friction coefficients on the box or any sales advertising.
I don't know of any single source with listings.
It is an individual thing.
Digging in the the Web, or going into a store and actually looking are your best bets.
