Bought a brand new Tahoe

Is anyone making one for this setup now? I know Range didn’t have one when I last looked for our 2021.
Yeah I think you're right, I guess 2022.5 and up GM trucks is still not available as they're pretty locked/encrypted being the new GM Global B.

That was my finding as well. I’d like to get one for the new AT4 we got but haven’t found anything yet. You doing an early oil change on it?

I will, I'm thinking somewhere around 1k I'll do oil + filter. I think these things take like 8 quarts or something. I have a buddy who's at a GM dealer, I'll have him do the free GM oil change for me at some point. I'll probably change it least once or twice before that scheduled appointment.

Took a few pics yesterday in the sun and one when we went out to dinner. I am loving the color.

Next Friday the dealer is putting the Z71 running boards on. I guess they’re shipped separately. They’ll be all black and offset the look good.

you either dont know about the afm lifter camshaft issue or dont care
Yeah I do not care. It will either be under warranty, extended GM warranty or it will be old enough I’ll pull the heads and delete it.

Or maybe by then Global B tuning will be so widespread that it’ll get a L8T 6.6 swap.

Way better than anything else the other two domestics can muster.

Or-its such a small number you don't care.
GM allows dealers to sell certified vehicles with DFM (not called AFM anymore-new technology) with a power train warranty out to 100,000 miles-GM apparently feels the motor will go at least that far.
Earlier this year, General Motors announced a $22 million investment at its Spring Hill, Tennessee, manufacturing complex to build V-8 DFM engines.

Im out-this is yet again a dead horse that been dug up and beaten over and over and over again on this forum.

I push two buttons. One is the ignition-the other is the button in front of the infotainment center to turn of the DFM-it's automatic to me. If they become available-I'm not spending $200.00 for one.

I wouldn't hold your breath for one becoming available with the new global platform.
its still very much an issue! wake up and stop buying these
What crusade are you on? Give it up...nobody cares but you. You newest vehicle is going on 21 years old.....that's indirectly a statement-your jealousy is showing.

HP-Tuners will crack '24 E90 (Global B) controllers by the end of the year, But they will likely always require to be sent in to be unlocked.

Let's see if this happens. Your making a prediction. Probably based on the guys at HP making a prediction. We shall see.
