I had a '99, but with leather. Good truck. Definitely worth putting a motor in it, IMHO.

My wife is deep into the hiring process for a property management position, It requires being able to pull a 3,500# trailer if needed but with a sizeable vehicle stipend.

If she doesn't.....I need a shop truck now that I sold my 2000 Silverado to my daughter.....It will get the bare minimum to make it road worthy, Remove the 2nd & 3rd row seats & bolt down a 3/16" sheet of steel with tie downs, storage for chains/rope/straps & Tool chest with basic hand tools & a couple mid torque impacts.
Dual batteries & a fuel transfer switch & plumbing to fill my mowers/pressure washer & vehicles that "Ain't got no gas in 'em"
