bought a 1999 Suburban 1500

Hit it some more today.

Battery cables are done, 6 gauge to the Alternator, Not 4 gauge like I posted.

Installed the radiator & found the Duralast lower hose doesn't fit, Ordered a OE GM one (Near $100).....Packed it in cause I'm tired of working on this thing

She's up & running. Ran it at 1800 rpm for about 20 minutes for initial break-in....Had my big fan on the radiator/grille the whole time as I haven't installed the fan & shroud yet, Ran 210° once the thermostat opened.

Set a P1345, Cam-Crank Correlation. Offset was fairly close at -8°. Advanced the distributor so the offset was at 0°, Cleared the DTC's & performed a Cam-Crank relearn procedure.

Haven't replaced the front O2's yet, But the 27 year old original AC sensors perform near flawlessly. Fuel Trims are hovering right around Zero or 128 on the Block Learn & Integrator (Yes, The PCM still has the legacy fuel trim data ;))

Went on a short test drive, Runs good, Trans shifts great. Didn't go to far as I didn't want to get stuck in traffic with no cooling fan.

Still waiting on the OE lower radiator hose & want to knock out any front end work before the shroud is installed.

This was after it sat for 4-5 hours, She bust's right off....Love the Vette/Denso starter!!
