I heard a few very positive comments about the new Bosch wipers. I paid the high price for them and out em on my F-150. They are horrible!! Worse wipers I've ever had.

Since they are driver side and passenger side specific I tried switching them up and still horrible!!

Angry consumer!

The cars at work get Bosch wipers and they are very bad wipers. They are priced steep and are a very poor value in my experience. I only buy OEM inserts now, but even back when I bought entire blades, other brands offered much better service for me than Bosch.

I would recommend buying new wiper blades at your dealer (the whole blade for each side) and then when you need new inserts, just buy new inserts at the dealer. In my experience, dealer inserts are very competitively priced and last far longer than any aftermarket product. That is with Honda/Acura, Toyota, and Chrysler inserts.

I think the longer the blade the worse the beam style blade works. That and the degree the windshield is curved. I imagine an F150 has a pretty big windshield.

Beam blades in general are pretty bad in my experience, not just Bosch-branded ones.

Standard Bosch Micro Edge blades are great, they just don't last very long.

I have two sets of wipers for my vehicles - winter wipers and summer wipers.

The winter ones I couldn't be happier with. Although they're REALLY small (fine on the jeep, awkward on the cous) they work great.

They're some sort of no name brand that I picked up at Ollies for $2 a piece.

I put a pair on Mom's Grand Marquis 2-3 years ago and they work fine. I thought by now they'd be chattering, she insisted that they didn't, and I happened to have the car out in the rain recently and she was right; they wiped just fine.

The pair on my Dakota are going on a year and are just now starting to annoy me.

As long as I can get them for a decent price after rebate, I'll keep getting them.

I dunno man, my father worked at Bosch's wiper division for over 20 years. We've been using them on our cars for as long as I can remember and they've always been great.

Common problems with wipers in general are that people have really nasty windshields with tons of accumulated grime/oil (causes chattering and smearing), and that people don't change them often enough or at the right time of year (also causes chattering and smearing).

Worse is even when people put RainX on the windshield and then complain how the wipers don't work.

I just use the cheap Kleenview blades from AAP. I use the $10.00 off a $30.00 discount code and buy a set for my truck and wife's car. Final cost is about $20.00 for all 4 blades. The Kleenview blades work every bit as well as the higher priced blades. I keep both windshields clean and occasionally treat the blades with spray silicone to keep them supple. No wiper problems at all on either vehicle.

I have a set of Silicone wiper blades that are lifetime warranted. I can't remember the name. I have to clean them about 4 times a year. I have had them on for about 8 years so far. They are starting to streak, so I will see how well the lifetime warranty works.

Yeah, let us know how that works out.

Blades should be changed every 6 months. Yes they may last longer than that, but performance will suffer.

Also this.

I used to use Bosch MicroEdge XL blades and while they worked well, they only lasted a short time. I quickly got tired of paying $14 each when the $8 Michelin blades from Wally's work just as well and last about the same.

I have had perfectly fine luck with Bosch Icon blades in the past, but honestly I just now use the OEM blades, they are always great, and long lasting from the factory.

My Honda OEM blades are still fine, 1.5 years old now and lots of miles annually.

Rain X blades works great too. keep that windsheild clean.

This exactly. I bought a set of Bosch wipers and was unimpressed with the added price ad added chatter.
