Bosch Cartridge?

Okay...I've never tried this filter, and I'm curious to know if anyone has used it.

My local AZ is willing to throw in a Bosch w/ the Mobil 1 oil deal
(they won't do a Mobil 1 filter).


I usually run Delcos or Wix cartridges, and have never tried this one......

I just did the M1- Bosch cartridge deal myself. Haven't used it yet, but see no reason the Bosch cartraige isn't as good as other top flight filters.

Nothing wrong with Bosch filters. If it's a Made in the USA filter, it is likely a Purolator. If it's marked Made in Germany, then it's a Bosch (as in European car OEM-style Bosch).

Mine is the Bosch 3641 and is USA made.

I use Bosch Cartridge filter in '00 E430, mine made in Germany and by the look of its construction it's as good as OEM Cartridge filter or Mann, Hengst and other German Cartridge filters.

Oddly enough, here in Canada, I can get the Made in Germany Bosch, Mann, and Mahle filters for about half the price of the Wix filters for the same application. I do have to order enough to get free shipping, mindyou.
