Hi All, are 3300 filters ok to order from say RA lately?

I see a '22 Mazda CX-30 coming thru for service in near future, it has to ship across country to Montreal after I see/work on it.
The plan is to replace all fluids, check/replace brakes' pads/rotors, filters, oil change, to set the owner for next couple+ years of easy/cheap service.
Car has 26k km on it (16k mi), had regular oil changes only. It was used up north last 2 years, say south most point of Alaska.
Thank you for your input!

Those filters are fine if the price is right. If that's all your ordering, the added shipping charges might make that a less attractive deal. Myself, I would buy the Champ XL, 2876XL instead.

At 16k miles, I think that is a little too soon for fluid replacements but that is up to you. 30k would be my target mileage for fluid replacements.

I will speak up with what some will inaccurately call, "RA hate".
An RA order of mine included oil filters. Some were dented.
Those filters had included strips of paper explaining that they knew the filters were dented and that they were not returnable.
That was galling.
In another RA order, I was sent element oil filters which included incorrectly sized O-rings for the canister.

Buy a filter you can examine for this one-time Mazda service.
While I freely admit the dented filters didn't develop leaks, I did use time continually inspecting them.
I ended up changing them out early as the uncertainty was gnawing.

You do not want to be surprised as I was.
As a customer, you don't want to be treated so shoddily.
You don't want your eastbound car developing a real "rookie's leak".
You sure don't want your name associated with a botched oil change.

If you're referencing the Bosch Premium filter sold at RA, and now made in Mexico, I can't recommend purchase or use. Seen too many sloppy construction anecdotes with that coo posted here. Otoh, I purchased many 3323 from RA when they were made in US. All arrived in great shape with two orders, and filters with posted c&ps, all excellent filters. But Bosch Premium, no longer made in the US.
