OP didn't mention that in his post, that would have been helpful if he had.

He's had MANY threads about this car, including one documenting these things when he bought it.

You will take a stab at BMW and a few other makes when given half a chance. But here you have gone off half-cocked here with no concept of the context of the OP's situation nor the history of the vehicle. It would be quite logical to assume something is "up" when a 2011 vehicle is mentioned as having no warranty. And subsequently, issues regarding said vehicle should beg questions as to why, not blind brand bashing, which is all you have done in this thread.

This has nothing to do with accident front end wasnt touched.
And as I said there are more brand new Bmw clean title with same problem.

I bought car directly from auction so I know past and how it was fixed.

Damage was little blown airbag # salvage even areif it was just small bump.

Do you have any pics of the damage? I don't recall you posting them? Would be interesting to see what reduced the value of this vehicle so much!

Regardless, my point was not how FUBAR your car was or wasn't when you bought it, simply the fact that it had a salvage title and subsequently no warranty.

Overk1ll PM sent ... ( Pictures )

I know ... I was just pointing this out .. that its a common problem on them ... nothing to do with the car history ...

Understood. There are far worse problems than a seeping diff cover. Like perhaps an engine that will sludge itself to death, or a frame rotting in half....etc

If you catch my drift

hehe

yeaah ... not looking forward to get my engine slugged up like old 1.9 TDI

lol

But then again with great help of guys like you and bitog members I don't think its possible ... I wish that I knew about bitog when I had 1.9

Someone's a bit conceded, boy, you'll try and defend any brand of car you own, huh?

How about the 1.3 million car recall issued today for an electrical flaw in BMW's, might I add that are worth much more than the average Toyota with a sludge issue (which btw with proper OCI is avoidable), and Toyota bought back the trucks with rust for more than resale value. Also BMW has 154 problems per 100 vehicles, while their competitor Lexus has 86 problems per 100 vehicles. Not to mention the fact that BMW's are ridiculously unreliable, as per my previous experiences.

Whatever, I have better things to do than pick a fight with you. Your not worth my time. Good day, Mr.Ford, I mean Mr. BMW, wait I meant Anti-Reliable, hold -up I definitely meant OverK1LL.

You obviously don't or you wouldn't have replied to my post with your snarky little remarks and calling me names.

Conceited? Do you even know the meaning of the word? I mean obviously you can't spell it, so I'm guessing that's a no?

I'm sure that "electrical flaw" is on the same level as your car randomly going WOT right? Or maybe your frame rusting in half? How'd you like that to break on you in the middle of the Interstate? Or perhaps your engine seizing solid due to sludge?

You don't have a freakin' clue, and every post you make on this board simply reinforces that statement.

Not really, I've just been working 13hr days for the last 4 days, came on here last night to catch up and saw this thread and his comments. I am somewhat tired of hypervish's baseless brand-bashing. If I had a dollar for every anecdote he tosses out as "evidence" of Toyota being superior and seemingly everything else (see: vehicles he doesn't own) being, well, not, I'd be a billionaire.

He could have asked the OP about why the vehicle didn't have a warranty before making his snide remark, but he didn't. That's his hallmark. When I see somebody having an issue with their Toyota, I don't hop in there and start calling their car junk, but that's basically what he is doing. It is rude.

You simply don't know how to read if that's the case. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2579049#Post2579049
I clearly asked him why it wasn't under warranty... Sorry, that I don't read every post the OP writes (ie. stalker status), which is the only way I would have known it has a salvage title.
He also mentions that other beamer's are having this problem, not only his. I can't see how an accident causes a differential to leak.
I never said Toyota was superior, in fact i didn't bring up Toyota till you brought up some "smart [censored]" remarks.

I'm getting quite tired of your responses as well, so If you have a problem with what I write, then don't read it. As simple as that! It's a free country, I'll write whatever I please.

I can read just fine. And much better than you can write apparently. It wasn't the first part of your post I had issue with, it was this part:

That was unnecessary, particularly since you hadn't waited for an answer as to why it wasn't under warranty!

Come into his thread, drop this deuce calling his car junk and then get all bent out of shape when I call you on it?

And you can't see how a car being in an accident that caused the air bags to deploy in a vehicle with an AWD system and having FRONT differential seepage issues could be related? Accidents (like front end ones that could cause the air bags to deploy) don't stress front end components?

There was no need for you to bash his car. It was rude. And that's the issue. You could have asked him why it had no warranty without the brand slam. But that's not your "style" I guess, right?

And BTW, I thought you had "better things to do" than argue with me? Yeah, I didn't think so.

And remembering what somebody wrote in one of their threads makes me a stalker? No, that just means I have a decent memory. Much better than yours I guess

But then I'm not just trolling for topics that I can berate people in, calling their cars junk so I can get my rocks off about how awesome I am on the Internet.

Yeah, no kidding, you're right. Peace out. That is if you know the definition of "peace".

I'm quite sure your use of the word "peace" here has absolutely NOTHING to do with the meaning of that word. Sarcasm leibhaftig.

One thing is for certain, if the vehicle was hit hard enough and in the right way you can certainly imagine the front diff might get banged up.

Maybe it yanked a halfshaft so hard it tweaked the seal?
