I think you are confusing the two articles. LDL has both good components and bad components. When you can't tell which is which and you can't lower it or at least get your Total/LDH better than 5 you need to reduce it. Thats is proven.
The second article deals with your information below:
This flies in the face of accepted knowledge. on a muchmore demonstrable scale. Frankly I chose to believe the mainstream data. Coconut and nuts are different than animal saturated fat. And BTW cave men were dead by age 40.

You need some fat it's common sense but if you see the diet of ancient man well all I CAN SAY IS THEY DIDN'T HAVE TECH(shelter, clothing) SO EVERYTHING THEY DID WAS hard work to survive, there body chemistry was always in motion not being lazy or they wouldn't be able to survive. They aren't stating the common sense on that one, maybe to hunt your food your body chemistry changes so the need for ancient diet was adapted in geographic areas?
Coconut oil
http://www.coconut-oil-central.com/coconut-oil-rickets.html which I consume daily because it's a normal thing in the Pacific Islands(sun). Is coconut oil a saturated fat a bad thing?
Need to also think animal diet was a natural thing which makes today's commercial animal diet not a natural thing.
Example wild pigs diet(today in the wild like here) that feeds on veggie and roots has a far less fat content than industrial diet(man made). Like wise as with other animals. Stating ancient man's life span was at age forty there were external survival dangers that can't be debated reason for the short life span, not on their diet?
I like to take bits and pieces...reason is I did witness people that live the same for thousands of years untouch in their diet and lives with no industrial contamination ... it has awed me to this day, there seem to be a reason we can not fully understand but how human beings that had adapted in geographic areas.
