Blano do you have any opinion on Shindaiwa trimmers? Where are the Redmax made? I have an old Echo SRM-210 that has been used hard. I am still looking for a new trimmer for sping. I looked at Stihl. If I do go Stihl I would stay away from the new 4MIX engine after talking to some local landscapers. I will also look to put a blade conversion kit on it also. Thanks.

Redmax are better than Shindaiwa IMO. I believe Redmax are made in the USA, but the parent company is Komatsu of Japan.
