BG Dex VI Trans Fluid

I wanted to check and see if anyone has used BG Dex VI trans fluid? The reason I ask is, the 6L80 crapped out at 88k and had it rebuilt. The shop put in a Billet TQ, Sonnax shift kit and valves and updated the thermostat. After, the vehicle is run for awhile, it has harsh downshifts at 20 & 35 MPH. Because it seems to only happen after being hot, I was wondering if the fluid if the culprit. The shop who did the work doesn't believe so...

I am familar with BG products but not the trans fluid.

According to the information on the BG website their DEXRON VI fluid is licensed so it should perform like any other licensed fluid.
