BG Products Trans Fluid

The previous owner of my 2017 X5 had the differentials and transfer case oils changed at a BMW Dealership at 40k miles before we purchased, they used BG products. At first I was annoyed when I found that out after I bought the car, but at 104k miles, the vehicle has been completely trouble free!

The only reason to use BG products is for their added warranty.
Or from positive experience from it being used.

When your dad who trained auto mechanics and helped write ASE tests (when it was named NIASE) recommends a mechanic that used BG induction/injector whichever and "decarbonized" a pinging 4.0L Ford Explorer with before/after borescope pics.

When you try BG44k from recommendations and it makes a noticeable, documentable difference in MPG but also feel in power that Techron never did.

When a close friend, BMW top tech recommends BG SynchroShift II in your Corolla 5MT and it solved the light grind that 3 other shops said needed rebuild, including Toyota dealer that uses BG Products.

When another friend, VW top tech says dealer uses BG EPR per a TSB to help the oil drinkers that come in and BITOG has many same comments, at least prior to newer oil versions.

All positives, nope. Toyota dealer used BG ATC+ on my Sequoia and that made for shifting that wasn't as positive. It did what it said but not what I liked and had to be flushed out.

I used some MOA because it came with some of the BG44k packs I bought. UOA from Blackstone had concern for coolant leak from high sodium IIRC. VOA of MOA confirmed it was that not a coolant leak. Did it do anything positive or negative? Who knows.
