Just got them put on our 2018 Grand Caravan. Initial impressions are great, but I’m also comparing to some 3-4/32 Michelin eco something or another tires that were on the vehicle. First set of 3PMSF rated tires and I can’t believe how good they are, van actually gets out of its own way now even on snow! Ultimate test will be my driveway, which I will update with how they do on.

I bought a new to me 2016 Honda CR-V EX February 18 2020 and the dealer had put a new set ( all 4 ) of those in the 225 65 R17 with the 3PMSF rating and I have been quite happy with them for the 4,600 miles I have put on them so far. They go good in snow, and handle well on winding turns going up steep hills be it summer or winter. I feel safe with them on the vehicle no mater what the weather or condition. They are a little noisy on the highway, but I seldom travel on highways.

With my previous vehicles I always ran a winter set ( all 4 ) of Blizzaks and they were great in the winter, but you had to always put them on late and take them off early because if you run them in warm weather you will wear them out quickly.

The dedicated winter tire Blizzak I used on previous vehicles had a little more traction in snow than the BF Goodrich 3PMSF set but the BF Goodrich set still have plenty of traction and plenty of control in winter conditions. And it certainly is nice not to have to change sets twice a year.

All in all, if I wear these out I will stay with another set of them or a set of the latest and greatest 3PMSF Michelins that are made when that happens.

All season tires ( at least the now available top end 3PMSF ones ) have come a long way over the last 10 years, to the point that now you really can have a good winter and summer tire all in one.

I have a set of these on the Mazda and they do work really well in the snow. Unfortunately, their wet traction is lacking. Will be giving the Michelin CrossClimate a shot next as I've read they handle wet conditions better.

Best of luck with your new set!

I just don't get why they have a "B" traction rating.
Look up what the traction test is..
IIRC its something not even remotely close to real world.

Its a tire on a trailer and has something to do with skidding on a wet surface..

Which btw is probably that tires weakest point.. not horrible but the wet traction is average at best.
They can also get excessively noisy after they get some miles on em(like many tires)

I heavily researched those due to the GREAT price at sam's and costco.. for a 2013 equinox.
ended up getting some pirellis from DT with a pricematch for even cheaper.

We have a set on the wife’s crv. They really have been good tires for us. She quite disliked the previous tires on it... Firestone LE2s, and I showed her noise/wet/dry ratings and she settled on the BFGs. They are to me a bit of a sleeper tire.... they have a little bit of growl to them but punch above their weight class in terms of performance and handling. There are a few reviews on them stating balance problems if you mine through various websites, but ours have been great. I was very tempted to put them on the Lexus but went with a higher performance category... one of the Bridgestone potenza models.... but really the BFG compares very well to it, minus a little road noise.

I have these same tires on my DTS, but not the LT version. I've never had trouble accelerating or maintaining speed on snow.

When it rains heavily in the summer, I also never felt a loss of traction. The ABS never engages braking on a wet road.

The tires can get a bit noisy above 70 MPH. Though I think they get quieter as they wear. And they're not the loudest tire I've driven with.

I’m happy to report they passed the “wife test.” I can’t really comment on noise, the previous Michelin’s were kind of noisy but they were also worn out, and the roads were snow covered. At 50mph they felt perfectly balanced though.

Now she can stop taking my truck and making me worry about her using the 4x4 on it lol! I trust her, but that’s something she’d easily forget about and I don’t want that panic stricken phone call about why she can’t turn easily because she left it in 4 high.

I wonder how similar that tire is to the non-LT tire? The Charger and Tahoe PPV guys really liked that tire in the recent snow & ice from what I've been told.
