Here's a shot of my Buick tire with the Meguiar's Endurance (Purple Syrup)

The stuff is supposed to be liquid polymer and not silicone.

No offense intended, but is there any way you can tone down the shineyness/greasey look of that stuff? It looks like your tire was laid down in a pool of oil.

I absolutely love the matte look Stoner's leaves, but is there another product that looks that good, but lasts longer? It just doesn't last very long.

I like Armor All Extreme Tire Gel. Slight gloss that once wiped down (which I always do) lookes matte and clean. Armor All Extreme Tire Gel is the only OTC product I use. I'm willing to pay $$$ for quality stuff...but AA Gel is great and cheap to boot! Give it a try.

Yes, you can tone down the shine. Apply the product, let it sit for 10 min or so then wipe down with an old towel/rag. This will give a very nice look, even out the look and tone down the shine.

I will also point you to this thread: http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/thread/1285.aspx
You will see several photos of a product called Meguiars All Season Dressing, this stuff looks great and it can be used on both trim or tires.

Actually, it does tone down after about 4 days when it finally dries.

Honestly, I was using the Megs Endurance (Purple stuff) and I liked it, other than getting my hands greasy. I bought some Stoner's but that just doesn't last very long and the shine is really dull. I'm going back to the purple stuff...it lasts about three or four times as much as the Stoner's and it will even withstand a good rain, which happens a lot around here.

Ive been using turtle wax f21 spray that I believe I bought at autozone. Its spray and walk away. I like it.
